These Pokémon ex cards — Venusaur ex, Charizard ex, and Blastoise ex — were first introduced in the Pokémon Card 151 subset; they are reprinted in this set with new card artworks. The Special Deck Set ex also includes full art cards of the Kanto first partner Pokémon cards: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
The Special Deck Set ex is packaged in a large box which can be used for card storage. The set also includes three coins of Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise; two sheets containing 44 damage counters and 2 status markers; a damage counter case; player's guides; and a two-player playmat. |
